Privacy Policy
Life in the UK Practice · Last updated 4 October 2026
Summary
Life in the UK Practice does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking.
Data stored on your device
To work, the app saves your study progress on your own device: test scores and history, saved questions, flashcard review schedule, study days, your optional test date and your settings. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
You can delete it at any time from Settings > Reset all scores and history, or by uninstalling the app.
Network access
The app works fully offline and does not make network requests. If you tap a link to an external website (for example GOV.UK), it opens in your browser, and that website's own privacy policy applies.
Children
The app is a general study aid and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Under UK GDPR you can still contact us with any privacy question, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy will be updated before that change is released, and the date above will change.
Contact
Life in the UK Practice is an unofficial study app and is not affiliated with the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration or TSO.
